Pottery

I live in Morganton, NC and make functional pottery designed to be used, handled and enjoyed. An innately simple and primal material, clay comes to life for me on the potter’s wheel. I continually refine the shapes and decorative techniques I use, to add variety and a “spark”, attempting to capture some of the pleasure of creativity in each piece. Whether it’s a coffee mug or a casserole, each has its own character designed for comfort and use. I hope my work speaks to you in a warm, clear voice.
